Cookie Policy
Cookie policy of Inproov’s website: which cookies we use, statistics with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only with your consent, and how to change your choice.
This English version is a translation provided for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Italian version shall prevail.
Cookie policy
This cookie policy is provided to users in implementation of the Italian Data Protection Authority’s “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” of 10 June 2021, and in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
The data controller is INPROOV S.r.l., Via della Croce Rossa 8, 35129 Padova, Italy, VAT No. 05369890289, info@inproov.net.
Cookies are short pieces of text (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the client (the browser) to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even days later (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, according to the user’s preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).
Technical tools
Inproov’s website does not use its own technical cookies, nor profiling or advertising cookies.
To remember your choice about statistics cookies, the site saves a technical record in your browser (in local storage, “localStorage”), inproov-consenso, with your choice and the date. It stays on your device for 6 months, after which you are asked again. No consent is needed because it is required to respect the choice itself.
The contact form does not use cookies: the data you enter is only used to answer your request, as described in the privacy policy.
Statistics cookies (only with your consent)
Only if you choose “Accept” in the banner does the site use two third-party services to understand how it is visited and improve it. Without consent, neither of them is loaded.
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited: counts visits, pages viewed, where visitors come from (search engine, link, direct access), device type and country, in aggregate form. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled; Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address. Data is kept for 14 months. Cookies set:
- _ga: distinguishes visitors, 2 years
- _ga_<ID>: keeps the state of the visit, 2 years
Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited: shows anonymously where people click and how far they scroll on a page (heatmaps) and reconstructs visits to find where the site is unclear. The content of the contact form fields is masked and not recorded. Cookies set:
- _clck: identifies the visitor in Clarity, 1 year
- _clsk: links the pages of the same visit, 1 day
- CLID: identifies the first visit, 1 year
- MUID: Microsoft services identifier used by Clarity, 1 year
Google and Microsoft may also process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which both companies adhere, or on standard contractual clauses. Providers’ policies:

How to give, refuse or withdraw consent
On your first visit the banner asks you to choose: “Accept” turns statistics on, “Reject” or the X leave them off. Continuing to browse without choosing does not count as consent.
You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, the statistics cookies are deleted and the tools stop collecting data.
